Robin Yang to Present Enchanted Collar Book Series to Elementary School Students
New York, NY – Prosperity Prana announces that Robin Yang will conduct a Meet the Author Q&A session about her book, Enchanted Collar, at an elementary school in Manhattan, NY at 9:30 am on March 23, 2012.
Unlike other financial literacy books that are either picture books intended for kindergarten kids or non-fiction books suitable for college students, Enchanted Collar is the first financial literacy book written for elementary school students. Because it seamlessly interweaves financial and moral lessons into a fast-paced plotline, children are eager to find out what would happen next when they read the Enchanted Collar book series.
Since its release, Enchanted Collar has earned praises from children, parents and teachers. “I liked the book a lot.” writes seven-year-old Brian to the author. “I want to know what happens to Eli on his journey. I hope you write more soon so I can enjoy reading more about his story.”
“I see tremendous value in children reading the Enchanted Collar series and learning crucial money lessons. This book should benefit their financial future and emotional well-being greatly,” writes Maggie Baker, Ph.D., a child psychologist of thirty years and author of Crazy About Money: How Emotions Confuse Our Money Choices and What to Do About It.
As a thirteen-year Wall Street veteran, Yang is passionate about teaching kids the basics of finance, because she believes that promoting financial literacy is the most effective way to prevent future financial and banking crises. In addition to authoring the Enchanted Collar books and teaching financial literacy, Yang also moderates a parenting forum, where teachers and parents engage in insightful discussions on how to raise financially savvy and emotionally stable kids. You can find more background information on Yang at LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
The aforementioned classes are private. For media access, please contact Robin Yang at 917-328-2661 or ryang@prosperityprana.com.
